For me, yoga is complete freedom. Freedom to move, to be still, to push, to soften, a chance to free the mind from stress and worry, to free the body from the routine of everyday life. Freedom to honour the body and the mind, and whatever they need in any moment, always a chance to meet the self with kindness, with love and without judgement.

In my yoga teaching, I see my role as providing a space for others to find and honour their freedom, to honour whatever their body needs, and to provide a space to grow, to breathe and release. My number one aim always is for students to leave with a smile on their face.

I have been practicing yoga for over ten years and have explored a whole range of different styles and approaches during this time and teach and practice a whole range of diffident styles from slow and meditative to fiery and strong or soft and flowing. Ashtanga, quantum, anusara, bikrim, baptiste power yoga, yin are just some of the styles that have influenced me, and I’m always seeking new styles and practices to explore. In all my classes, I aim to let the practice flow, every pose organically weaving into another to become a moving meditation. I also love love love core work, so expect to get the muscles working there!

I trained with Simon Bathes and Jane Collins in Sheffield in 2016 (Yoga Alliance 200 hours) and am also trained in Pilates (HFE 2014, Level 3). For me, yoga is complete freedom.
